I know it’s a long shot but these are discontinued and I know there’s some of y’all with bits laying around. I need the wiper motor grommets. Mine are completely destroyed and without them the motor is just flopping around like a dying fish. Anyone happen to have a couple of these and willing to let them go to a fellow Oppo?

Im not really partial to either to be honest, IMO the mustang has slightly better looks for most generations, except the 4th gen, I hate those with a passion. the new Camaro’s looks really awesome though.

2: Yep. One dealership in Kentucky has a set for forty eight god damned dollars.
3: Yep. Found a set for fifty five god damned dollars.

Sorry still currently using mine but have you checked Car-Part.com ? I found junk yards with the whole motor for 35 bucks. Just keep the grommets and bolts on the motor as you leave. Or just ask for the grommets, pick n pull junk yards near me wouldn’t even bother ringing up. Below I used Lafayette, CO zip code (saw your other post and just assumed). Also never assume Junk yard prices are firm. Some times they are but often they ain’t

Its amazing how many junk yards it pulls from. More amazing is that there are that many junk yards.
But i have found multiple things off there, mainly body parts but im sure you wont have a problem finding them. The website is old but works. Just make sure to sort by Distance (just have to click Dist) or you might find the part but in Florida.

Both of those are the last resorts. Shipping is outrageous for two pieces of rubber that amount to a few ounces! Fifteen to twenty bucks!
I may have to bite the bullet and just pay the god damned piper

I’m going through car-part.com, so far unsuccessful. One shop had me drive 45 minutes just for them to tell me that the part is still installed and they won’t pull without pre-pay. I told ‘em I’m not paying for a used part before I can confirm its quality. He said well, too bad. So I drove another 45 minutes back home. Dunno why he couldn’t have just said that in any of the three calls we had between each other, but whatever. Fuck off, guey.

I’m going through all the yards listed on car-part. Either they don’t have the grommets, the grommets are hosed, or they’re assholes. If all else fails I may buy a couple chunks of rubber and whittle the damned things into existence. They have a specific shape to mate to both the motor and the firewall so hose won’t do it. I have enough of one salvaged though I could theoretically cut one into shape I think.
